Lake Como - Brienno

This will be my first time visiting Lake Como. Since I have a limited budget and am booking accommodation really last minute, the only accommodation that I found is in Brienno. I'm wondering if there are direct ferries from Brienno to more touristy area like Varenna and Menaggio. Or does it require me to bus somewhere to take the ferries. I'm having a lot of issue understanding the ferry timetable and routes.

Thank you in advance!

You can use the Rome2rio site for most transportation questions. Here’s an example of Brienno to Bellagio.

So the bus takes you 30m toCadenabbia, you have 15m to transfer to the ferry. Then 10m on the ferry to Bellagio.

From Bellagio to Menaggio or Varenna , ferry connections are easy.
Grab a ferry timetable while there.
Check carefully return times to Brienno.
