Lake Como Bellagio in late April

We are planning a trip to Lake Como- Bellagio in late April. Will the weather be too chilly to enjoy ferry rides or walks on the lake? Will the mountains next to the lake still be beautiful? What can we expect? If it’s too early in the season, we may go other destinations in Italy.
Thank you!!

We were there in April several years ago and it was very nice weather. Just a light jacket as I recall. And I hate cold weather! Of course, weather can vary quite a bit but it's not like a January trip.

I was there last month (November). Our temperature was in the low to mid 50s. The terrain (lake, mountains) is still intact and magical. The ride on the lake was gentle and beautiful. I remained on the inside deck of the ferry. Everyone else in the group enjoyed the upper deck. I walked everywhere without discomfort.

We were there for a couple of nights in mid-May (2014). It could be cool and breezy on and next to the lake (or not), unless at a sheltered cove. Very pleasant a little away from the water. Mountains near Bellagio were snow free. Quite a bit of snow in the peaks past the north end of the lake.
