we are going to Lake Como in Ocotber. We do not want to rent a car so all appartments would need to be close to the train stations. Any suggestions

Tom, How long are you staying? Do you specifically want an apartment or would a Hotel or other lodgings be acceptable? There's a good ion of accommodations within easy walking distance from the station.
