Lake Como, Amarone, and then Prosecco Trail or Parma?

Ok, after listening to some of your advice, we have tweaked our itinerary again and I am looking for advice of those that have been to this area before. Here is the plan: Fly into Venice and rent a car. Travel to Lake Como for 3 nights. Travel to Verona for 3 nights (still deciding to stay in town or in Valpolicella).
Then we would either like to visit Emilia Romagna area or the Prosecoo trail for 3 nights. The Prosecco trail seems to be fairly under traveled in comparison to the other regions. We really love food, wine and some art. We are taking a RS tour at the end of our time in Italy so after our last stop we will be traveling by train to Ljubljana. Suggestions from those that have been there?

Go to Verona, it is near the beautiful Lake Garda (excellent wines of Garda), there are great wines in Veneto including the one you mentioned, Amarone and is only 100 km from Venice, at least I'd go there.

Thanks Claudio. We do plan to go to Verona and have decided to stay at Casa & Natura Breviglieri for three nights. We will have a car and I think that we will day trip to Valpolicella. Have you been anywhere on the Prosecco Trail? The towns seem so small. I am leaning towards Parma and day trip to Modena but would like some ideas from those that have been to these areas. Thank you!
