We're spending several days at Lake Como (Staying in Moltrasio, southwest side of lake.) and would like suggestions on great lakeside cafes, restaurants, castles, museums, etc to check out. Also if anyone can recomend reputable water taxis, etc.......thanks, Mike

By all means - make sure that you have at least one dinner at Alberghetto La Marianna - a hotel and restaurant in Cadenabbia - they have a website - just google it. Ty has menus for each day of the week - there are no choices but the meal is sheer poetry. We were there in October '07 and we are still talking about the two dinners we enjoyed while staying there. He will suggest fabulous (and reasonable) wine pairings with each course. Have fun.
