Hi, Does anyone know anything about this lake and where a good place to go would be , can you swim in it ? We will be in Cortona in July . Also are there other fun activities near by ? thanks Sue

Near Tuoro there was a little beach. Passignano was nice also but never been at the beach there (not even sure how it is) just stopped at restaurants a few times many years ago when the freeway wasn't there and you had to go through the city streets in Passignano to get to. Perugia. The view is nice but I never found swimming in that water appealing in fact I never did, just stayed at the beach a bit. I think they have swimming pools if you are so hot that you need to get in the water. There are several nice campgrounds there so people must like spending beach vacations there.
