If you are in a major city, you will find Sephora with many brands you are familiar with. Department stores like La Rinascente in Rome and Milan are good options as well.

Sephora will likely have some local brands. They are a French company.

I agree with L'Erbolario...they have really nice products (soaps and body creams etc). Also, I tend to stock up on Manetti Roberts products like their rose water (aqua alle rose) and face creams ...you can find in the supermarket and very reasonable prices!
