I noticed that La Marina isn't listed in Rick's book. Not sure what that means. Has anyone had a good or bad experience there?

Jan--Do you mean Albergo Marina in Monterosso rather than Vernazza?

We haven't stayed there, but I did correspond with Christian about renting the apartment. He was very quick to respond and professional. The location looks fantastic, and the place gets mostly good reviews on Tripadvisor.

We spent 3 nights in Vernazza at La Marina in 2007. We hadn't booked ahead, and found the apartment when we arrived. Christian was very helpful. We would have booked there for our trip this year, but there are too many of us in our group. Enjoy.

We stayed at La Marina and loved it. Great location as long as you don't mind stairs - the best part being the private terrace overlooking the water. I definitely would recommend it.

Terry---when were you there? I am wondering if that stone terrace gets unbearably hot in the summer.
