There's an extra zero there; the RT fare starts at $2400.

I have friends who are contemplating using La Compagnie for a trip later this year, so I took a quick look at the fares a few days ago. They do have not-crazy one-way fares, so I think this airline is also worth considering by those interested in lie-flat business-class seats on the way to Europe and regular coach or premium coach on the way back.

La Compagnie uses Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR) rather than JFK.

About four years ago we flew them from New York to London. It was great. At that time they were using the older style, lay flat business class seats. Service was good. The waiting lounge to board had snacks and beverage. We would fly them again. Glad to see they are still in business. Historically, the all business class have not done well.

I thought they had gone.

Back in business I guess.

Enjoy.

Nigel -- when we used them they were flying into London and Paris only. They were using Stanton airport in London. A bit difficult to get to and from but OK otherwise.

We were about to book them for a one-way later this year. For a while, I was tracking via Newark airport website to be sure the flights were taking off. Like all the airlines, an undersold flight risks cancellation. I had decided to book weekend tickets for assurance.

However, for $6 in taxes I was able to use miles for biz with a different carrier. If you fly them, please tell us about it. I would in the future.
