L'Altra Luna B & B

Hi anyone of you have stayed in L'Altra Luna B & B, ROME before? How do you find the B & B? Is it good? Is the location safe for travelers? Thanks!

I was also trying to find out about this B&B the other day. I e-mailed Ron in Rome and he said the area is a little “rough” but usually safe. He also sent the picture of the outside he had got from Google maps. You could also look it up. I decided not to try it. I hope this helps.

I am going to try the Cesar Palace B&B about 1 km northwest of Temini near Porta Pia. The address is Via Normentana 55. It is actually cheaper than L'Altra Luna for me. The price I secured for 1 room (for 3 people) with breakfast at 73 Euros for the night. Cesar B&B is fairly new. I think it said they opened in January 2009 but there were enough reviews on Trip Advisor that were good (http://rome-hotels.tripadvisor.com/ShowUserReviews-g187791-d1378701-r34582179-Cesar_Palace-Rome_Lazio.html#CHECK_RATES_CONT), with one bad, that I am felt better trying this B&B. And for the price, I'm willing to try. The actual location might not be where you want to be depending on what your want to do and why?

This is going to be my last night of a 3 week trip/tour of Italy. I will have been in Rome for 4 night while touring Italy before heading south for 4 nights. I am returning to the Rome area for the last night and departing for home the next morning. I decided to stay in Rome itself rather than by the airport (FCO) to take full advantage of my last night in Rome/Italy. I just don't want to spend too much since it is only a place to sleep before catching my plane and I wanted to be close to Termini. I figure 1 km will work and the price makes it better. I won't be going to all the tourist sights from here. Looks like other did per Trip Advisor but how easy it will be to get around Rome from this B&B, I don't know. It wasn't my concern or pupose.

Hope this helps. Good Luck. Let me know if you find something better or some major concern.
