Kosher in italy

Our family trip will coincide with passover. Does anyone have suggestions for Kosher restaurants in Pompeii, Naples and Rome?

Rome (which has the oldest documented Jewish community in Europe) will not be a problem, there are several Kosher restaurants in the Ghetto on the main street, as well as throughout the neighborhood. I haven't looked for Kosher restaurants in Naples, or Pompeii. Florence has a good one, though. Try JewishItaly.org for recommendations.

My cousins were in London over Passover a few years ago and dealt with dietary issues by renting an apartment. Doing so allowed them to prepare their own meals when necessary.

The only kosher restaurants I've run found in Italy are in Rome and Venice. I think there's one in Florence too. You won't find any in Naples or Pompeii. I would also check in advance with the Roman restaurants if they will even be open. In my experience, most kosher restaurants close for the week.

If you require kosher food, your best option is to contact Chabad (in advance) and ask for their help. If there are no open restaurants, they will probably be able to help you arrange for prepared take-away meals.
