Kite destinations Europe

Am thinking of buying a campervan (mazda, VW or toyota) and travel Europe's shores during an upcoming 6m sabbatical. Will start in Italy (Grosseto), ferry to Sardinia and Corsica, France mainland and then try to visit as many countries and spots as possible. Any thoughts on spots, campings to stay, what to do without wind. Found a good list to start with:

if this isn't spam to advertise the blog, please explain why if you want NO wind you post a blog about kitesurfing which requires wind???

I'd be very reluctant to follow your link because I don't know were the rabbit hole will take me

@nigel
won't be on the water all the time and certainly not when there's no wind....when not kiting we like seeing sites, villages, towns....

Please confirm that you understand the Schengen Visa limitations? Or confirm your nationality. That way we know that question is off the table.

The location provided by the OP is Italy therefore one would assume, rightly or wrongly, that they are Italian or have Italian residency.

This EuroCamping website provides information on many camping places in Europe.

I have not actually camped in Europe, we researched the options but then decided the logistics of camping were not worth the effort at the time. But if you’re based in Europe there are many campgrounds of every level from primitive to luxury and most are perfect for campervans and RVs.

Enjoy the planning and the trip!
Meanwhile stay healthy.
