I really like my Black Keen Sandals. Has anyone traveled around Italy in November with them? I will be taking another pair of good walking shoes but would like to wear the Keens most of the time. Even if I have to wear black socks with them. I'm just concerned about wet cold weather.
I was there through much of October last year (and on previous trips). In almost 4 weeks, there were only a few days when I would have worn sandals (even though I prefer them at home), and I was glad I wasn't having to truck them along. But as long as you're also prepared for cold/wet weather and don't mind carrying the sandals, you should be fine. The weather can be quite variable
It's settled then. The Keens will stay home. Too heavy anyway.
I think it depends on the weather you get..... I spent several weeks in Italy during October/ November in 2006 and 2009. Both times we had fabulous weather and I wore sandals a lot. The weather was not cold and we only had sprinkles one afternoon.
I wish you warm sunny weather for your trip.........but who knows what you will get.
