My wife and I and 4 of our friends just returned from 3 wonderful weeks in Italy and I wanted to take the time to thank everyone on this site for all the advice, tips, recommendations etc. From the hotels in Rome, Venice and Sorrento, the train travel and to Marianno our driver for the Almalfi coast everything worked out like a charm - thank you all

In Rome the first two nights we stayed at the Hotel Montreal - nothing fancy but it was clean and well situated. Our last night in Rome we stayed at the Hotel Domus Praetoria, this was an excellent hotel for the price. In Venice we stayed at the Hotel Riva, again nothing fancy room was very small but it was clean. In Sorrento we stayed at the Il Nido and we have nothing but praise for Dominic and his family for an excellent hotel. We enjoyed everything the Il Nido had to offer.

I'm glad to hear that you had a great trip. I'm also pleased to hear that you enjoyed Mariano Fiorentino for the Amalfi Drive. We thought that he was wonderful also.
So, could you please let us know where you stayed in Rome, Venice and Sorrento?
