Just booked Reno-Venice Milan-Reno 21 nights. After 45 minutes of online frustration I threw in the towel and called United. Miracle of miracles I got right through! No hold time...no unusually high call volume...best of all no muzak...just a live human being
who took care of everything. On a holiday weekend no less! The stars seem to be lining up for a great trip.

@Dick, Non-stops from Reno to Europe? Not in this lifetime I'm afraid. We do have a non-stop to SF and then a non-stop to Newark and then another non-stop to Venice. Gonig to Venice, Dolomites, Ferrara, Pavia, Stressa. Leaving Sept 26.
