June 3, 2025, rail strike question

I’m checking this site:
Ministero delle Infrastrutture e dei Trasporti

And I’m trying to understand what is occurring on June 3. There are two 24-hour strikes in the Ferroviario sector. This appears to be rail related?

I’m set to arrive in Rome (FCO) on June 3, and I wanted to take the Leonardo Express to Termini. The rest I can manage from there.

I’m not sure what this strike even is, and would getting from FCO to Termini be affected?

It looks like those strikes may only be maintenance workers so it might not even impact trains. It's also too early to plan for strikes, they often get called off at the last minute. If all you need to do is get from FCO to Rome, you can take a cab or bus if the trains aren't running.

The Leonardo Express trains from FCO Airport to Rome Termini station are not affected when there is a rail strike. They are guaranteed by law to continue to run even when there’s a nationwide rail strike.
Have.a great trip!
