I just learned that our primary touring day in Florence this summer, June 24, is the day on the celebration of their patron saint, John the Baptist. Does anyone know how this will impact our site seeing that day? Will this celebration be a positive or a negative for our trip there? We've never been to the city. I expect a lot of people and a raucous crowd, which is fine, but we still want to see the sites. Thanks.
