Hello! Does anyone know why there are no Accademia tours available through any vendor for this date? I see earlier dates so I don't think it's a matter of selling out. Does anyone know if there's something special about this date?

It may be because it's a first Sunday of the month, when entrance is free to many museums, that the Accademia is likely swamped with tourists? I very recently returned from Italy and could not make a reservation for the Borghese Gallery (on the Gallery's website) for the first Sunday of May. Just a thought...

That could be it! I wonder if we're out of luck then. That is our only day in Florence.

I would have put money on the fact that it's because of being a first Sunday of the month that tour companies aren't covering the Accademia. Oddly enough, this Express tour came up on "The Tour Guy" website, and it looks like it runs on first Sundays. Take a look?
