Join a Tour in Italy

Hi
My daughter is studying in Italy and has weekends free. Can she join a group tour while studying in Florence? Looking for tours near Florence, Venice, Capri, Portofino, etc?

Thank you.

So a three day tour? Doubtful and so easy to do on her own, perhaps with other students from her classes. That is what my kids and grandkids did when studying abroad.

What about Rick's son Andy? Go to andysteves.com and check out his week-end tours for students. I'm not the right age group, but they look like lots of fun..

Hmmm, doesn't look like Andy has any "Local Experiences" or weekend trips queued up. I'm not seeing any, anyway?

Just guessing that she's OK with just some day tours too. I've no experience with this outfit at all but they seem to be getting good reviews, and she'd be with others generally close to her age:

If she's studying in Florence, Capri is definitely WAY too far for a day trip. It would also not be an inexpensive trip. Not enough to do in ritzy Portofino; she'd do better looking at hiking in the Cinque Terre (Portofino is outside of the CT). Venice is a possibility by 'fast' train from Florence.
