Jellyfish in Venice

Wow! It seems like we have been locked down forever, and yet who would have thought that there would be such a difference to the canals in that time!

Has all that underwater life been there all along, or is it newly arrived now that the water's clearer? My guess is that the anemones have been there, but maybe the jellies have come in to check the place out.

I wonder if that lady who dropped her phone over the side of the vaporetto last year when I was there would be able to see to the bottom now and retrieve it? ;)

I like the animals that are regaining their space but I would prefer that jellyfishes are far from the beach ; )
