I'm back from my first-time-2 week-solo-trip-to-Italy. It was absolutely phenomenal!!! Stresa was the perfect place for me to recover from jet-lag, get used to traveling alone and get used to Italian culture.

Hi Joby, I’m checking the general list of posts this morning and saw this! Wow, I am so happy that you enjoyed your first solo trip & loved Stresa! What other cities did you visit?
My itinerary was: 3 nights Stresa, 4 nights Florence and 7 nights Rome. I'll write up a trip report soon, I'm now trying to work through my 3500 photos :-0
