January rail strikes?

I have read about strikes scheduled for January. I'm mainly concerned about 14 January (high speed intercity); 18 January (intercity and regional) ; 21 January (regional and intercity); 24 January (intercity) and 25 January (Termini to airport)
Any input will be appreciated.

Nearly impossible to forecast with any accuracy. Lots of threats about strikes but seldom happen. If they do, they don't last long. In all of our years of travel we have only been hit by one strike, one day, and we shifted to the bus. But often a limited number of trains will continue to run even if there is a strike. Worrying about a strike is very, very low on our list of things to worry about. Just be flexible.

You'll have to check and see. I unlike other people have been affected MANY times including this year -two times. There is a limited window early morning and later when trains are guaranteed and you can check the train site to see if your train is guaranteed. March I changed the weekend that I was travelling - major regional train strike and in May I traveled a day in advance - so both of those strikes one in Emilia Romagna and one in Rome did occur. The worst is when it is the trains and buses which really makes it interesting. So check your days and as it gets closer see what happens. edit - 2025 because it is now a New Year! I return to Italy Friday - there is always a threat of strikes.
