Jack Daniels

This is for my husband who is not a wine drinker (at all). Will he be able to find his Jack Daniels at any of the bars/restaurants in Italy?

Yes and he can also buy a bottle there just in case.

I'm also a Jack and coke drinker and you will find it all over Italy. No worries!!! Just remember, you'll be paying more for a drink than you would here in the States. You can also buy a bottle duty free in the airport to have in your room!!!!!

Hi Sue...I'm not a wine or beer drinker either..all though I tried with gusto...pick up a bottle of Jack for your room and have a toddy there...when out and about prepare yourself for an expensive drink otherwise...I ended up paying on average 3-4 euro per coke so add to that for a mix drink...so I found comfort in gellato instead!!!!!! I was drunk on the flavor selection and the fact there was a gellato bar every few feet it seemed!!!!

ENJOY!!

Coke and Jack is not a drink. Whiskey is very available. He should experiment with some of the local whiskeys which may be a better quality than Jack.

Maybe Jack and Coke isn't a drink in YOUR world, but then again everyone is different so respect each others individuality.

Any time I'm in Europe more than 2 weeks I get a little homesick and I start drinking Jack Daniels occasionally, just to remind me of home. One sip and I'm back in my college days at Razorback Stadium!

My own recommendation: try cutting that Coke back slowly over time until you learn to enjoy the flavor of just the whiskey on the rocks. Yumm!

Too funny that this has turned into a discussion of whether Jack and Coke is a drink or not a drink! Personally I wouldn't drink either one, but my husband is just a Jack on the rocks drinker. From the posts here I gather he will have no trouble finding it. Thanks all.

"Coke and Jack is not a drink. He should experiment with some of the local whiskeys which may be a better quality than Jack."

In the posters question where at all did she ask if this was a drink or not? Why would that even matter?? She simply asked if she could find Jack Daniels... not your opinion on what was a drink or what anyone should try.

You know, I've lurked in these forums for awhile and have found that a few people here are awfully proud of themselves and their opinions.
