Doing a trip in May.
Would love feedback on this itinerary.
Want some culture, food, countryside, and coast.

Any feedback? Would you stay longer or shorter anywhere?

Also any Puglia reccos would be appreciated!

Thank you!

Would love to know your "why".
Is it worth going to puglia only for 3 days?
We are staying in an airbnb in florence, borgo san felice and bandita townhouse in tuscany and borgo egnazia in puglia.

I assume you'll be driving, which will help you a lot since most of the places folks want to go in Puglia are fairly small. The exceptions are Bari and Lecce, to each of which I'd allocate a full day. With a car you many be able to see 4 of the small places in one day without being rushed if you don't try to cover too many miles. If you try to see most of Puglia from a single base, there may be a great deal of out-and-back driving.

I'd consider 4 full days my minimum, and I'd want to add a day to hit Matera, in Basilicata. I assume you've checked the driving time from Siena. ViaMichelin estimates 8-1/2 hours to Lecce (Bari would be a bit faster), and that's with no stops, traffic tie-ups or navigational errors.

Where will you be flying back from? Unless you can find a decent connection out of Bari, the day before your departure will see you on the road, making for the airport in either Naples or Rome, I think.

We aren’t driving from Siena. Driving to Rome (2 hours 20) and then flying. Flying back to NYC from Rome as well. So we will have 4 days in Puglia.

I think it would depend on what you want to visit. I know many here on this site love Siena, I personally, would add a day to Florence and visit Siena from there. Easy transportation by both train/bus. Doing so would eleminate one change of lodging. I'd add that extra night to Pienza.
We enjoy Puglia, but with only three nights you're going to be limited as to what you'll be able to visit.

Edit: have you considered flying back to Rome from Brindisi ?

My first reaction that Puglia is far to only stay for four days. Can you add days to your trip?
We combined Puglia with Sicily, very easy to do. The other locations you mention are all in the north. Perhaps some time time in Liguria for your coastal section, Santa Margherita Ligure, Camogli. Save Puglia for a southern Italy trip and stay in Polignano a Mare or Monopoli to be right on the Adriatic Sea.
