A friend and myself are in the early stages of planning a trip to Italy for the middle of May 2020. This will be my first time abroad and I was wondering if this itinerary is realistic. Any suggestions/help would be greatly appreciated! Thank you in advance!

Day 1: Arrive in Rome
Day 2: Rome
Day 3: Rome
Day 4: Arrive in Florence (via train)
Day 5: Florence
Day 6: Arrive in Siena (via train)
Day 7: Siena
Day 8: Siena (half day trip to Chianti vineyard)
Day 9: Arrive in Montepulciano (via car rental)
Day 10: Montepulciano (half day trip to vineyard?)
Day 11: Arrive in Varenna (Drop car off in Siena, then take train)
Day 12: Varenna
Day 13: Varenna
Day 14: Train back to hotel at FCO
Day 15: FCO -> IAH
