We r planning a trip in May 2018 to begin with a guided tour of a few Greek islands for a week, then to visit Puglia for at least one or two weeks and then up to Venice for 3 night's before flying home to Boston. Any ideas about tour companies, hotels in Venice and the best method to travel? Thanks for any help you can give us.

Puglia is a region of approx 7500 square miles.--- Rather difficult to expect suggestions for travel methods given such a vague location description.
fly from Athens to Bari is one option
depending where in Puglia you are, flying or train are the primary options, with a rental car being the other choice to get to Venice
the RS guide books have hotel suggestions for Venice

If you are staying in Southern Puglia, it will be a long slog by train or car to Venezia.
