Hello travelers! Both my partner and I are traveling to Italy for the first time (30 & 34 years old). We are going to hop around Rome and end our trip in Greece and I was hoping that some of you may be able to provide some tips.
I've done a lot of research; Things like when Italians eat throughout the day, what to avoid (tourist traps with people, and restaurants that show display food or someone tries to bring you in), making lunch/dinner reservations, and the general tips. This is not our first time traveling abroad but it's personally my first trip to Europe, so naturally I'm a nerd for research and details.
We really like to stray away from the tourist path as much as possible. Obviously it's Rome and that's a given, but just hoping to experience Italy in the most authentic way possible. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated!
