Hi everyone! I have been reading Rick Steves and researching online and wanted to get some opinions! I would like to do a couple tours in Florence. We will be there Sunday afternoon until Wednesday morning. We will do RS renaissance walk, but not quite sure how to do the rest. Don't want to be overwhelmed with too much, but don't want to miss out! What would you recommend to get the best cultural and historical. Thanks for your help
Every major European city has "free walking tours" where the tour guides operate on tips. You can find them online. That's a very good way to see the city center, and the tourguides are very good.
Viator has a bunch of tours of Florence and Tuscany, and they're very fairly priced. They and other tour firms are also online.
I used the free Rick steeves app in Florence. You download audio tours to listen too while e at the various museums. You will love how close everything is! While preparing for my trip I listened to many of Rick's radio shows that discussed Italy.
