Itinerary Advice Appreciated Imola, Verona, Tuscany and Geneva

Okay..appreciate your insight/help on this one. Two couples coming to Italy trying to maximize every second plus add in family history visit.

May 16 we arrive around noon Venice and head to Imola to attend F1 race (Track daytime on the 18th, 19th, 20th and race 21st).
Maybe 17th try to visit Enzo Ferrera museum in Modena (Suggestion for nice place to stay one night Modena--thinking after visit to museum and lunch head to our B and B in Imola (thoughts?)

On the 21st -dearest friends arrive to Venice and will spend 21 and 22 in Venice. On the 22nd-my husband and I will be in Maranello visiting the Ferrari Museum and plant tour ;-) If we miss Enzo Museum on the 17th (due to jet lag)--may try to do Maranello and Modena same day. Prefer to break up -not rush.

*Here's the question on May 23rd--trying to find best location to meet up with our friends in Venice--our goal is to head to Tuscany =. We will have the car...they will meet us via train. (still in search of perfect landing spot to stay in Tuscany so we could do some day trips--possibly even one into Florence--thought travel friends? ). Do we rendezvous and drive north to Verona or do they take train down to Imola/Bologna and we do a city stop on our way to Tuscany? Coast? San Marino? Other suggestions--yes, trying to maximize every second. My gut says just head to Florence/Tuscany area and check in and explore ;-)

How many days Tuscan region and key hotspots to see/do? Like to do some wine tasting, maybe hunt for some truffles, take in the environment/beauty. Plus, there are the natural hot springs--worth exploring. Best location to situate in Tuscany and /or Chianti region to enjoy the area the most?

Cinque Terra? LOVE LOVE LOVE to go here (might hit Pisa on the way if possible)--but problem is "the car" suggestions where to find a spot to stay

My friends family is from RONCO, Italy--I believe just north of Turin--hmmmm. Trying to swing through this region to see/explore. But the ultimate goal is to make it to the Milan train station to return our rental car and catch a train to Geneva to visit my cousin who lives there. Thinking 2-3 days Geneva to visit. Flight back to US is mid day June 1st

Appreciate all your feedback/input and thoughts on how many days to spend in Tuscany, Cinque Terra, good spots as we work our way from Imola to Tuscany...Agriturismo best location, Cinque Terra spot to stay a night or two...Thank you very much for your time and creative input!

Ciao!

This is confusing--try this:
May 16-May 22 Will be in Imola and environs
May 23 need to meet up with friends who are arriving from Venice.
--I think they should hop on the train and meet you in Bologna OR Florence, will depend on scheduling and where you end up choosing to head.
May 23-May 28/29? Is this the amount of time you have for Tuscany? Is a good place for this week or so what you are looking for?
(If you stick with Tuscany, you can park at La Spezia and take the train to CT.) If you are up for alternatives, you could explore the Piedmont instead, and then you could maybe fit in the drive to Ronco (if it is the Ronco Biellese that I saw on map). That's what I would do with these parameters.

Just as an aside: If you are interested in some pretty coastal scenery and have the time while you are in Imola, San Bartolo park is absolutely lovely and with none of the crowds CT has. Sounds you are into cars and driving and I think it would make a lovely scenic drive. There are some hiking trails in the park as well.
