We are planning a trip to Europe for 10 days, which includes travel days and would like help with an itinerary. We are flying into vienna for a wedding in sebersdorf and then would like to see Venice, Florence, saltzburgh and possibly flying out of zurich. We are open to eliminating a city or two. And we dont plan to rent a car. Thanks for your help.

Sarah: Your info request is a little generalized. You might want to read some travel guides and get a little more specific on your planned itinerary. Your train travel would be best taken as follows: Vienna-Salzburg-Venice-Florence. Then you'd have to go through Milan and through Switzerland to Zurich. The above itinerary will require substantial rail time. And, Zurich is still a long ride.
I would suggest flying home from Italy.
