Italy travel

Would like to fly into Palermo, Sicily and fly out of Catina to Naples..is this possible..what other cities can you fly to from Catina?

Karen, you can fly from Catania to Naples (several flights each day), be sure to spell the city name correctly when you search. I've seen fares (one-way) from about $50 and up. You might want to post what cities you are interested in seeing for more information from posters - in Sicily or on the mainland? How much time do you have? Do you mind changing planes? Keep in mind that airports are usually some distance from the city, so you'll need trains or buses or taxis to get from and to the airports.

Thank-you..yes I did spell that wrong..We are going to fly to Rome, 3 days,Sorrento area 4 days and then on to Sicily..Palermo, Cefalu, Enna, Agrigento, Siracusa, Taormina, M Etna and then fly out of Catania..we plan on renting a car and staying 2 weeks in Sicily..We may do this in reverse..planning for the first 3 weeks in Sept..any suggestions?
