I was trying to book tickets for the fast train in June and accidently ended up on a resellers site. And before you judge, the name and appearance of the site were very similar to Trenitalia. Even had the same logo near the top. Has anyone purchased a ticket through Italiatren.com and used the ticket. I just want to ensure the ticket is legitimate and the company is legit. The cost of the ticket is the same which is strange. So I'm wondering if they buy tickets from the rail system at a discount and resell. Next time I'll be more aware for sure.

Reseller is possibly selling you a ticket that doesn’t exist yet

Does it have a QR code?
Does it include a seat reservation?

It does have a QR and a seat reservation so hopefully it's okay and accepted. Yes I did read the link prior to posting actually. Was looking to see if anyone had personal experience with this type of ticket.
