Will be in Rome September 2, 2016 with train travel to and from Venice. Is anyone aware of any disruptions to train routes between major cities in Italy due to the recent earthquake or an online source to check?

Venice is a completely different direction and region so there would be no impact on rail travel in that direction. The trenitalia schedule for tomorrow shows no change. You can always check schedule at the train site.
