Italy to Paris or vice versa--trip planning help please

New to this forum, so thanks in advance for your help. I have reservations in Paris for July 5-12 I can cut that short, but my days will be within that time frame. I've been to Paris before so I'm ok with that leg of the trip, but I want to travel back to Italy and explore some area's I haven't seen before. My thoughts are to fly into or out of Paris and into and out of Rome. I've been to Rome, Florence and Venice but would love to see Amalfi Coast or Cinque de Terre and then maybe have a day or two in Rome again. We have about 10-11 days in Europe. I am confused about travel logistics between Paris and Italy, not really sure of the best itinerary. I scanned a few of the other questions on this and still don't think I have a clear view of best options.

What would you do if this were your trip?

Few Facts:

1. Travelling with husband, and son (22) and daughter (18)
2. Daughter has never seen Paris (the rest of us have)
3. We have all been to Rome, Florence, and Venice (personally, I love Rome and Italy in general)
4. Really want to see another part of Italy on this trip--the only thing unchangeable are the dates in Paris. I can make that as little as three or as many as seven days there, but I can't change the dates of availability.
5. Main purpose of this trip is to take daughter to see Paris for graduation gift and bring her back to Italy since she and I love it.

Try this itinerary.

5 nites Paris.

Fly easyjet (carefully check out their luggge restrictions) to Naples then Curreri Viaggi bus to Sorrento.

4 nites Sorrento...gives you better transportation options around the Amalf Coast.

Circumvesuvian train to Naples, Traain Naples to Rome.

2 nites Rome.

I'd start in Italy and end in Paris, so are in Italy earlier (possibly less hot) and not jetlagged when you get to Paris.

If you want to keep your time in Italy shorter, you could spend time in Umbria and Rome . . . Orvieto, Assisi . . .
If you take some time from Paris, you could even spend a few days in Sicily. Fly to Rome for 2 nights or even skip it, then fly to Palermo and from Palermo there are flights to Paris. The western side of Sicily has wonderful Greek temple ruins, the kind of beaches you see on calendars, and much more.

For Cinque Terre, flights to Pisa are closest and served by the budget carriers. If you're using an airline search engine like www.skyscanner.com, you can also search from Paris to "Italy" to see what's cheapest, but all the destinations mentioned so fare are likely to have good airfares if you book ahead. Train from Paris to even nothern Italy takes all day and is not cheaper.
