Italy to Dubrovnik by Ferry

Has anyone taken a ferry from Italy to either Dubrovnik or Kotor before? Any recommendations? We would just be traveling by foot with no car at this point. We are planning this for next May / June.

Never taken after I learned it takes 9 hours from Bari. No thank you. I fly, or go to the other Ragusa*, in Sicily.

*Ragusa is Dubrovnik’s ancient name when it was part of the Roman Byzantine Empire.
