Italy TIM SIM card from Rome Termini station

I’m in southern Italy but started my trip in Rome and got a TIM SIM card at Termini station TIM store. I had to go back twice. First, I never got the welcome text or service. Next I never got 4 G speed as advertised. It took them a long time to set it up correctly for 4 G speed. I bought the 40 GB data tourist package and they swore their 119 text, call help center was in English...NOT. Does ANYONE know how I get TIM help in English??. I’m in southern Italy for over a month. As an aside they were so rude at the store, rolling their eyes as if I was wrong to expect the SIM card and plan to actually work. Thank you for your help

There should be TIM stores somewhere near you. Try Googling “Negozio TIM near me”. Drop by and ask politely for help. We had TIM service when we lived in Italy and have used it several times as travelers as well with few problems. Getting help in English is sporadic at best, but I’ll bet you will find someone who can figure out what’s going on. You probably are not set up on the right network.
