I am traveling with my family of four for 8 days to Rome, Florence and Venice, beginning on the Saturday before Easter. I read that many Italians have a holiday the week after Easter and that State and and City-run Museums are free during that "Culture Week". Would you recommend buying multi-attraction passes (Roma Pass, for example) regardless, to gain access to the short line to avoid what I assume will be large crowds for these free museums? Do the Museums still have these lines available during "Culture Week", or do they not bother, since admittance is free?
