Planning a trip to Italy in October and would like to combine part of our time in Switzerland . Starting In Rome and a couple days in Cinque Terre . Would like to spend 6 days in Switzerland . Is this doable ? Any suggestions ?

Hi, this trip report isn’t recent, so you need to check any hotels, etc. but it’s a good itinerary - just in reverse. You could substitute the time in Grosseto for time at Cinque Terre.

It will be cold in October in Switzerland, go there first.
