Italy side tours

Does RS help you plan side tours in the cities you visit for your free time?

ftsrwc, that is why they send you the appropriate guidebook (and want you to bring it with you) - so you can figure out on your own what things you want to see or do. The tour leader might have some suggestions for you if you ask, but it's not their responsibility to plan it for you.

ftsrwc, we found that there are often other people on the tour who have compatible interests, or experience, and connecting with them for free time activities is often an option. You wont know until you get there, and it's OK to talk about your interests at the initial meetup, or on the bus.

Most of the tour guides I've had have been very helpful with suggestions for free time while on the tour.

It doesn't hurt to have a look at ideas in the guidebook in case there are things that look especially appealing and which might need pre-arranging.
