I don't see any post/information on touring the Adriatic coast of Italy. I was planning to go from Venice down the east coast to Pescara and then over to Naples. Any suggestions/thoughts?

I don't know much about campsites other than I have seen some on the Adriatic coast. Chioggia is just south of Venice and I lived there for several years. It is a fishing town with a large canal. The coast is lined with beach towns - Ravenna being the most popular. The principality of San Marino is just off the coast and is worth visiting.
