My answer is about the same as for your Amsterdam question but I will expand on that answer a bit.

You really cannot experience Italy without a good guidebook unless you take a guided tour where someone makes all the decisions for you. Strangers on the Internet are going to give you what they have experienced, but we do not know your likes, dislikes, time available, time of year you are traveling, etc. Have you done any research/reading on what interests you in those cities? Why have you chosen to visit them?

I will echo what Laurel has said. I see that you have posted the same question on several of the country forums, so it's easy to assume this is your first trip to Europe. A good guidebook for each of the countries that you will visit (we've always used the RS books) is essential. They contain extensive, valuable info on attractions, walking tours, sample itineraries for cities, as well as dining, accommodation, and transportation (both within and between cities).

I rarely recommend specific dining places unless I know the preferences of the person asking. But if you use the search bar at the top of the page, you should find many threads giving dining suggestions for each of the cities you will be visiting.
