I like Twitter as a way to get succinct posts, links to relevant topics, follow breaking news, and see some amazing photography. I'm curious which Twitterers you find interesting when it comes to Italy? My first trip to Italy is in October. Molte Grazie!
"Who do you follow?" No one.
I echo Zoe's response.
Nobody for Italy
I do follow a number of tech feeds but not for Italy. A couple of bloggers for there.
I follow New York Times Travel and BBC Travel. They have some info on Italy but not specifically Italy. If you find one I'd love to hear about it.
No one on Twitter, but I have Italian friends on Facebook and there are a number of Italian facebook pages for organizations that I "liked" so I get their notices that way.
I too find more, and this applies to any country I've been to on Facebook pages from that country than from Twitter. On Twitter travel guide accounts, news channels, or things in the tourism industry in general will be useful to alert you for local festivals, or maybe something interesting to check out, but it is very hit or miss.
