Italy New Covid Restrictions For U.S. Travelers

We have a Transatlantic cruise scheduled to depart 12/5/21 that starts in Civitavecchia. We will also be stopping in France, Spain, Portugal and Bermuda. What are the current restrictions for U.S. Travelers entering Italy? Any and all guidance would be appreciated.

Thanks

No one knows what the restrictions will be at that point, so my advice is to do your homework early and often! There were changes between when I booked & actually departed & the best source of “on the ground” no spin feedback was this forum (thanks all!). I was prepared with all the right paperwork, & test (& vaccine) so the actual travel process was nice & smooth.

We just went to Italy (left yesterday). We are all American and entered from Germany. We had to show our Vacc card and our Italian PLF. That was 22 Sept 2021

If you left for Italy today, upon check-in you should be able to show a CDC card, the dPLF QR code and a negative test within 72 hours before arrival.

It's explained here and I am afraid the same page will still be online in December.

As ChristineH rightly pointed out, the actual restrictions are valid up to October 25. Check again in November.

Thanks. I'm aware that there is no crystal ball for December. My info request was for "current restrictions for U.S. Travelers entering Italy."
