going from venice to amalfi coast. how cold is the weather and what should i pack??

hi Virginia,
i was in Venice last March and the weather was in the 50's: cool in the morning but when the sun came out it was wonderful and warmed things up. I did take along a heavy winter coat because I live in the midwest; the coat felt very good in the morning and then in the late afternoons and evenings. I always pack layers, with a warm wool sweater and then long t-shirts. not sure what the Amalfi coast will be like, but since you are going further south would imagine in the 60's.
