Italy Luggage Transfer

Is there a way to drop luggage in Milan and be able to pick it up in Rome a week or so later?

I'm traveling to both Switzerland and Italy in the same trip. Switzerland will require warm clothes and hiking shoes because of mountain excursions and hikes. For Italy however, everything can be fitted into a carry-on.
Is there a way I can drop luggage in Italy somewhere and have it ready for pickup in another city? For Switzerland this is not an issue since SBB has a station-to-station luggage transfer. But not sure how to manage luggage in Italy.

Does Zyppy deliver on a chosen date? The delivery address in Rome would be an AirBnb so I'm not sure how this would pan out. Do they have an option where I can go and pick the luggage on my own?
I'm reaching Milan on Sunday and they don't seem to have pickup on Sundays.

Alternatively, are there any recommendations for places in Rome that can receive and store luggage, if sent via Zyppy or a similar service? Most of the AirBnBs in Rome are self-checkin so they hosts cannot receive and store the luggage bag.
