any advice /warnings on the weather in the lakes.como,maggiore and garda in april/piedmonte? weather in venice late april?

frank, Weather Underground will provide historical information but of course there are never any guarantees with the weather. Late April should be reasonably nice in that area, although probably "cool" at nights. Even for travel in May-September, I'd suggest packing along rain gear.

Dont forget maybe Lake Lugano. Check outHotelStella d'Italia on line. ask for a room with Lake view if you decide to go

we r staying in Varese for Maggiore and como and then in Garda before we turn in the car and go to venice. saw Lugano last time with a tour..rather do the como/maggiore lakes again.
