Chan, Everyone has their own style of traveling, but this seems like a lot of ground to cover in two weeks. You have 9 cities in 15 days; That's 1.67 days per city, not accounting for travel time between locations, which is at least half a day each time you change places. You won't really have time to see or experience anything. For example, on Day 4 you travel from Rome to Pompeii via Napoli. Stop in Napoli to see the Archeological Museum, then on to Pompeii for a tour? Where are you sleeping? Back to Napoli? Lot's of transfer time for this stop. To get to Bari the next day, it takes 4.75 hours from Napoli, with trains leaving at either 08:02 or 14:10 (current schedule). If you catch the early train, you will have barely half a day left in Bari. How will you get to Matera and Alberbello? Will you have a car? Bus? Have you looked into car and bus options? One day in the Cinque Terre is light. Are you going for hiking, or just to take pictures or ??? It's a long way to the CT for a one night stay. I'd cut this trip to 4 locations (where you sleep) max. Rome and Venice are IMHO "musts." Firenze is for the art and museums. If that is not of huge interest to you, skip Firenze or shorten your stay. Rome can keep you engaged for a week, Venice for 4 days easily. Milano for one day/night? If only to see the Last Supper, skip it this time. Your Pompeii trip could be a daytrip from Rome, though a long one. At least it avoids a one night stay in one location. One night stays are not very efficient or enjoyable. Be sure you check travel times and methods and plot out your plan including travel times. A trip spent on trains and busses won't give you much touring/sightseeing opportunity. Good luck with the planning!

I think you may be trying to do too much I would give Cinque Terre 2 nights and give Venice at least 3 nights
3 nights Rome and 3 nights Florence is good but of course you could spend more time in any of those places

Chan, it seems a bit rushed to me. You need at least two nights in Cinque Terre. I would only spend a full day in Firenze (but that's just me)I'm not into art that muchthat would save two days. Pete
