Italy hotel - clothes hangers

This may be a silly question, but here goes.... Are there clothes hangers in most hotels in Italy. I don't know if I should bring some of my own or not.
Thanks,

In my experience, it just depends on the class of hotel you're staying in. I've stayed in hotels with lovely, fabric, hangers, and I've stayed in hotels that don't even have a closet to hang in. :)

If this is very important to you, I'd send a quick email to the hotel(s) you're staying in.

I've always found hangers in the room. Occasionally they cannot be taken off the clothes rack and hung elsewhere (the hook part stays in the closet). Usually the number of hangers is limited, you may need to ask for more.

I've only been in 1 hotel in Italy that didn't have hangars in the closet. Most places I stay are in Rick's books. A few also only had the hangars that stay in the closet where the bottom half comes off the rod.

I usually bring 4 hangars with me. I bring 2 small hangars with clips on the end for shorts or small items. Those fit in my carry on bag and don't take up much room. I also have 2 blow up hangars for shirts. Deflate to put back in your bag and again take up minimal space. I've had to use them a few times but I'd rather be prepared and have them incase needed.

I don't think I've ever stayed in one without hangers. However the number is often limited, so it depends on how many clothes you need to hang. If you need a lot, bring some wire ones you get from dry cleaning places or some inflatable ones. They shouldn't take too much of your suitcase.

I'd say just to be on the safe side it might be worth it bring a couple of inflatable hangars. You'd then have them if you needed them and they're also good for drying sink-washed items or wet clothing (if you get caught in the rain). They don't take up much space or weight and they are handy.
