Italy Easter Sunday train travel food options

We will be traveling from Caserta via Rome to Padua on Easter Sunday. Should we bring food from Caserta, buy food at Roma Termini as we have about 30 minutes, or hope to find a restaurant open on Easter Sunday in Padua in the evening. Arrival is around 17:00. I am leaning to food and wine from Caserta to take with us as we will be in a facility with a kitchen.

TIA!

I would extend to never pass up the opportunity to have a meal while traveling. Trust your inclination to take food with you - anything else will be a bonus - or maybe a treat.

Take your snacks and lunch on the train; make a reservation for Easter supper (8pm is normal) in Padua but do it ASAP. Breakfast the next day is your biggest challenge. Ask the host for your apartment if there will be small store open for basics OR if they will stock the apartment with bottled water, coffee, maybe some bread or pastries to start your day.

Easter Monday (Pasquetta) is also a holiday but likely some shops, including bakeries and cafes, will be open in a large town like Padua.

Be sure to reserve now. Wherever I've been for Easter has always been very busy and reservations were required.

Termini might be very busy - 30 minute window could be tight depending upon track locations.

We were in Orvieto Easter Sunday and did have dinner reservation (which would be best, I think). However, we probably could've found a meal without one. Same on Monday. So much more open than expected and Padua is bigger I believe.
