Does anyone know where I might buy maps for Italy for our Magellan GPS? It would be a lot cheaper than renting them when we rent our car.

Have you gone to the Magellan webisite to find downloadable European maps? You usually have to get the map for all of Western Europe. And does your GPS model accept European maps? I've been to TOMTOM and Garmin sites before and had no problems, but both of my units were compatible for European maps.
